Bloxorz is one of our most popular games here at Coolmath Games, and for good reason! It’s a super fun and challenging puzzle game that will keep you entertained for hours on end.
So, what’s the goal of the game? Simply put, you need to guide your block through 33 levels and get it to fall into the square hole at the end of each stage. Sounds easy, right?
To move your block around, just use the left, right, up, and down arrow keys. But be careful not to fall off the edges - if you do, the level will restart!
As you progress through the levels, you’ll encounter bridges and switches that will help (or hinder!) your progress. There are two types of switches: soft octagons and heavy x’s. Soft switches are activated when any part of your block presses it, while heavy switches require more pressure and need your block to be standing on its end.
When you activate a switch, it might do something cool like swap bridges or create a new one. Green or red squares will flash to let you know which bridges are being operated.
Oh, and watch out for those orange tiles! If your block stands up vertically on one, the tile will give way and your block will fall through. Don’t worry, though - you can just start the level again and try a different approach.
And then there are the special () switches that teleport your block to a new location, splitting it into two smaller blocks. You can control each small block separately and even rejoin them later to create a complete block again. Just press the spacebar to switch between the two small blocks.
Here’s a pro tip: be sure to keep an eye on the passcode for each stage, which is located in the top right corner. You can use this code to skip back to a stage later on by going to “Load Stage” in the main menu and entering the 6-digit level code.
