Hey there! Let’s play a fun game of 4 in a Row! To get started, take turns dropping chips into the columns to try and get four in a row. You can click on a column or drag your chip in to drop it. Your goal is to connect four pieces in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. You can play against the computer, a friend, or even challenge other players online!
4 IN A ROW TIPS & TRICKS
Block those winning spaces! Keep an eye out for groups of three discs in any direction on the board. If you can, drop one of your pieces to block off that fourth spot. If not, be careful not to drop your piece below a winning spot.
Control the center stage! The player who controls the center column has more options to connect four pieces. Try to set up as many pieces as you can in the center early on and build your lines around that.
Pay attention to your opponent! As the game goes on, you’ll start to notice patterns in your opponent’s moves. Watch closely and adjust your strategy accordingly. For example, if you see your opponent setting up a row with open spaces on either side, block one of the sides with your color.
Plan ahead and stay one step ahead! 4 in a Row is all about strategy. Think about your next move and how your opponent might respond. Try to distract them by forcing them to block your moves elsewhere.
The 7 formation is your friend! Arranging your pieces in a “7” shape is a surefire way to win. Look for opportunities to connect horizontal and diagonal lines of three with two blank spaces at the end. This will make your opponent focus on blocking that one space, giving you the chance to complete the diagonal line and win!
